The Anoka Women of Today is a dynamic group of women that focuses on community organization and serving the Anoka area. We are a group where women of all kinds are encouraged to work together, get involved in the community and hold positions of leadership. The Anoka Women of Today have been serving the community since 1960.
The Anoka Women of Today are part of both the Minnesota Women of Today (a state organization) and the United States Women of Today (a national organization). The Anoka chapter was chartered in February 1960 as the Mrs. Jaycees. In 1979 the name was changed to the Jaycee Women, and in 1985 the name and organization of the “Women of Today” was established. There is now no association between the Women of Today and the Jaycees.
